4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to operate PulseCheck, comply with the law, or protect our rights. For example, we may share information with:

5. SMS Alerts
If you opt in to SMS alerts, PulseCheck may send text messages about monitored URLs, including downtime, recovery, SSL certificate, domain expiry, and related service alerts. Message frequency varies based on the number of monitors you configure and how often alert conditions occur.
Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of SMS alerts at any time by replying STOP, or get help by replying HELP or contacting alerts@pulsecheck.help.
6. Third-Party Integrations
If you connect PulseCheck to a third-party service such as Slack, we may receive and store information needed to send alerts and maintain that integration. The third-party service may also receive information from PulseCheck, such as alert content, monitor names, URLs, status codes, and incident details.
Third-party services are governed by their own privacy policies and terms. You can disconnect integrations through your account settings or by contacting us.
7. Data Retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide PulseCheck, maintain records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of data, your plan, account status, backup schedules, and legal or operational requirements.
If you delete monitors or close your account, some information may remain in backups, logs, billing records, security records, or legally required archives for a limited period.
8. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. You can help by using strong credentials, protecting your login methods, and limiting who can access your account.
9. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information. You may also have the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
